My name is Alpeche and I am a Full Stack Developer.

What I do

I am a Full Stack Developer with 8 years of professional experience. I am currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Bryden Wood in London. I have previously worked at a software consultancy company based at Adastral Park, Suffolk. I am currently looking for new opportunities in software and web development.

My current tech stack is Node.js, Python and Vue.js. I also have some experience working with React. Most of my projects use MongoDB, but I can also work with SQL databases. In terms of infrastructure, I use self-managed CentOS and Debian servers to host almost all of my personal projects. I sometimes use Docker to quickly run projects locally. I studied part-time at the University of Suffolk while working at Coderus. After 4 years of studying, I graduated with a 2:1 in Computer Games Programming.

My hobbies

Outside of work I like to travel around Europe. I am currently learning Ukrainian 🇺🇦. At home, I enjoy gaming, game development and music. I'm a huge fan of anything cyberpunk. I also work on my personal projects and (try to) contribute to open source projects. Some of my other interests in computing include operating systems, networking and electronics. My projects

Currently, I am working on a browser-based idle RPG using Vue, as well as a YouTube video looper. A full list of projects can be found on my portfolio and GitHub profile.

Some of the projects I work on are private and not open source. Additionally, I spend time learning new tools and technologies with very small "projects" that are not worth pushing to a public Git repo. My portfolio focuses on quality and finished projects over quantity. However, it is by no means a representation of my commitment to personal development, and research done in my free time. Please do not judge my skills based on a GitHub contribution graph.
